Grady’s Floor Coverings ~ Founded in 1968

Grady’s Floor Covering founder, Grady Bryant, has now been in the flooring industry for over 40+ years, specializing in commercial flooring work. Grady Bryant guided the company through its first thirty years of existence, and during that time Grady’s Floor Coverings was one of the few select companies to be on the “approved contractor” list for large national and regional clients such as Albertsons/Sav-On, Vons and Ralphs Super Market chains.

Grady’s wife, Louise Bryant, headed up the accounting department as the continuing growth and challenges required a person with strong accounting and finance skills. Grady and Louise are still a committed couple, and are active in their church, the community and overseeing the day-to-day operations of Grady’s Floor Coverings.

In 1999 Grady formed a corporation with Troy Bryant and remained as President and CEO until 2005. During his tenure as President, the company completed many important projects such as the luxurious 205 room Juniper Springs Lodge in Mammoth, California, and the exclusive million dollar Sierra Star Condominiums also in Mammoth.

Shortly after completion of those projects the company took on more and more restaurant chains such as California Pizza Kitchen and began the three-level remodel of the South Bay Galleria Mall in Redondo Beach, CA. The work on the South Bay Galleria Mall project was photographed and featured in Stone World Magazine, one of the industry’s most respected magazines.

Although Grady resigned in 2005, he remained on staff as an active member and consultant until June of 2007. After a short respite he again took over the reins of Grady’s Floor Coverings, and his years of experience and extensive knowledge in the field make Grady’s Floor Coverings an industry leader in the installation of all types of commercial flooring materials.

When Grady returned to head up Grady’s Floor Covering, once again, Stone World Magazine followed Grady to another picture-worthy project he recently completed for The Cheesecake Factory. This was one of several Cheescake makeovers and this one was featured in Stone World Magazine in July 2011 for the gorgeous makeover of The Cheesecake Factory’s Marina Del Ray restaurant right on the beach.
